History

1992

The predecessor of Vinatex Da Nang Joint Stock Company was the Garment Union Branch in Da Nang, established on July 1, 1992, with 1 automated embroidery workshop, 1 garment workshop with 350 workers, and 1 store supplying equipment and spare parts for the garment industry.

1995

Based on the merger of the Textile Union Branch in Da Nang and the Garment Union Branch in Da Nang, pursuant to Decision No. 100/QĐ/TCLĐ dated October 26, 1995, issued by the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Corporation, the Da Nang Branch of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Corporation was established.

2002

Based on the merger of the Da Nang Branch of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Corporation and Thanh Son Textile and Garment Company, pursuant to Decision No. 299/QĐ-TCCB dated January 28, 2002, issued by the Minister of Industry, Da Nang Textile and Garment Production and Import-Export Company was established (abbreviated as Vinatex Da Nang), operating as an independent accounting entity with its own seal. The Company's principal business activities include the import and export of garments, textile and garment trading, and the trading of electrical and refrigeration equipment and spare parts.

2005

Da Nang Textile and Garment Production and Import-Export Company was equitized pursuant to Decision No. 142/2004/QĐ-BCN issued by the Minister of Industry on November 23, 2004, and renamed Da Nang Textile and Garment Production and Import-Export Joint Stock Company.

2008

On July 1, 2008, the Company was renamed Vinatex Da Nang Joint Stock Company.

On March 31, 2010, Vinatex Da Nang Joint Stock Company officially listed 2,000,000 shares on the UPCOM stock market under the stock ticker VDN.

2020

Establishment of the Vinatex Nghia Hanh Factory Subsidiary

2016

With more than 30 years of establishment and development, Vinatex Da Nang Joint Stock Company has firmly established its position in the export garment industry, with an extensive network of strategic partners across leading global markets such as the United States, Japan, and Europe.

2008

Vinatex Nghia Hanh Garment Factory officially commenced operations in 2020, with the goal of becoming one of the largest and most reputable garment manufacturers in Central Vietnam. With a skilled workforce of more than 850 employees, 500 modern pieces of machinery and equipment, and 13 production lines, including 1 automated programming line.
